  My family and I had the Sunday carvery there last weekend for my birthday and are going back this weekend for more. Food was great and staff very friendly and efficient.

  Staff were extra level friendly. Really liked them, genuinely lovely people.
  Stayed in the static caravans with friends. Had a breakfast. Had an evening meal.
  All were very well priced. Felt like care had gone into every part of the stay.
  The pub is great for sunny beer garden drinking or sitting in a old style log fire lounge in winter.
  Definitely recommend.

  We are staying at a nearby campsite and, following a look at the website, we thought we would walk the mile or so to the pub for a meal. We were disappointed to find that dogs are not allowed in the pub. We had a quick drink outside and walked back to the campsite (hungry!). We recommend that the website includes a mention about no dogs - at the moment, it is ironic that one of the photos on the website includes a dog!

  Can't really post an accurate review as they are closed. It's Wednesday 3pm and no sign of life. Nothing on the door with opening times, no info at all. Not a great situation after 4 hours of walking/running in the mountains. Back to the campsite for pot noodles ☹️
